How to Mix PetAg KMR Milk Powder

Mix 1 part KMR powder with 2 parts warm water, or follow the mixing guide on the pack.
Stir or shake until completely smooth, with no lumps.
Warm to body temperature and test a few drops on your wrist – it should feel warm, not hot.
Mix only what you need for one feed and throw away leftovers.

KMR Kitten Milk Feeding Guide

Feed about 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of mixed KMR per 115 g (4 oz) of body weight each day.
Divide the daily amount into equal feeds.
Young or weak kittens: feed every 3 to 4 hours, including at night.
Older kittens: feed about every 8 hours.
Weigh kittens every day – they should gain weight steadily. Increase or reduce the amount to suit each kitten.
Always feed with the kitten lying on its tummy, never on its back.
Consult your vet for advice on very young, sick or weak kittens.

Example: a 230 g kitten needs about 60 ml of mixed KMR a day, split into 6 feeds of 10 ml each.

Storage

Keep unopened powder in a cool, dry place. Once opened, close the lid tightly and store as shown on the pack – refrigerating the powder helps it stay fresh for longer. Never keep leftover mixed milk.

From Milk to Solid Food

Around four weeks, kittens become curious about food. Offer KMR in a shallow saucer, then mix it with wet kitten food to make a soft mash. Thicken the mash gradually over the next few weeks until your kitten is eating solid food, usually by about eight weeks.
