Zoo Med ReptiCare Ceramic Heat Emitter 100W – Heat Lamp for Turtles and Reptiles, Day and Night
The Zoo Med ReptiCare Ceramic Heat Emitter is a heat lamp for turtles and reptiles that gives warm infrared heat without any light. Reptiles are cold-blooded and many need warmth through the night, especially when Indian winters or air-conditioned rooms cool their enclosure. A normal reptile heat bulb would keep them awake – a ceramic heat emitter heats silently in the dark, so your pet stays warm and sleeps naturally. It screws into a standard porcelain socket and gives off deep, “muscle-penetrating” infrared heat. This is the 230 V version, made for Indian mains. 100% genuine Zoo Med, supplied by an authorised importer in India.

Heat Lamp for Turtle Setup
Use only in a dome fixture with a porcelain (ceramic) socket rated for at least 100 W – never a plastic socket.
Mount it above the basking area or enclosure, securely out of your pet’s reach – the emitter gets very hot.
Keep it well away from water splashes in turtle tanks.
Connect it to a reptile thermostat to keep the temperature steady and avoid overheating.
Place it at one end so your turtle or reptile has a cooler area to move to.
Check temperatures with a thermometer.
Use it alongside a basking lamp during the day and a UVB light – a ceramic heat emitter gives heat only, not light or UVB.
